Since the development of physics,the idea of "unity" has always been regarded as the guiding idea to promote the establishment of physical system.In the field of electromagnetism,the Classical Maxwell Theory of Electromagnetism unifies "Electricity" and "Magnetism".Moreover,there is also a unity of structure among scattered physical knowledge.In terms of middle school,mastering the unity of physical knowledge structure can help students to have a deep understanding of physical concepts and laws.In the context of core literacy(physics),the 2017 edition of the curriculum standards for general high school physics gives a clear requirement for the unity of "field".The change is an unprecedented leap from the previous syllabus and from the 2003 edition of the general high school physics curriculum standards.In teaching,teachers should not just "read from the book",they should stand in a higher angle to impart middle school physics knowledge.Under this new requirement,teachers should constantly improve their own electromagnetic knowledge reserve,and actively guide students to form the thought of electromagnetic field unity.But in the actual teaching,most teachers often only to complete the prescribed teaching tasks and ignore the unity of "field" teaching,students are difficult to form the unity of "field" thought.In a word,under the requirements of the new curriculum standards,what level of teachers' and students' understanding of the uniformity of electromagnetic fields needs to be preliminarily investigated.Based on this,it provides reasonable suggestions for the teaching of electromagnetic field unity in the future.Therefore,this study is based on the comprehensive research at home and abroad,combined with the new curriculum standards.Starting from the two main subjects of the teaching process-teachers and students,based on the questionnaire survey and supplemented by interviews,a preliminary survey of the uniformity of physics teachers and students in middle schools about electromagnetic fields was conducted,and the results obtained were analyzed.The main research contents and conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.Research contents:(1)To investigate middle school physics teachers' unified understanding of electromagnetic fields;(2)Investigate students' understanding of the unity of electromagnetic field;(3)Make a comparative analysis of the similarities and differences of the above two survey results.2.Research conclusions: Teachers:(1)Teachers' understanding of the unity of electromagnetic fields is not limited to high school physics knowledge.They can understand and understand the unity of electromagnetic fields from the perspective of Maxwell's equations,divergence and curl and other advanced physics knowledge;(2)Although teachers can understand the unity of electromagnetic fields from the perspective of advanced physical knowledge,their mastery of advanced physical knowledge related to the unity of electromagnetic fields is not ideal;(3)Teachers' lack of knowledge of advanced physics,coupled with the lack of unity requirement of "field" in the curriculum standard(2003 edition),led teachers to ignore the teaching of unity thought of "field" in teaching;(4)The new requirement for the unity of "field" in the curriculum standards(2017 edition),senior teachers have begun to change to the unity of "field" thought teaching,and gradually consciously imparts the unity of "field" to students in teaching.Students:(1)Students mainly use Ampere's rule(also known as the Right-hand spiral rule)and Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction to solve the problem of the relationship between electric field and magnetic field.Maxwell's equations are the common source of their essence.(2)When students explain the mutual relationship between electric field and magnetic field,most students can understand the stable electric(magnetic)field law and the changing electric(magnetic)field law,with the view that the electromagnetic field is mutual unity.However,only a few students can understand the mutual unity of electric field and magnetic field from the perspective of Maxwell's classical theory of electromagnetic fields.
