Comparative Study On Offensive And Defensive Ability Of Chinese Team And Top Four Teams In The Second Men's Basketball World Cup

On August 31 st,2019,the second men 's basketball world cup was held in China.The Chinese team was separated into Group A which included C?te d'Ivoire,Poland and Venezuela.As the seed team,the Chinese team stopped in the round of 16 in a favorable group.As a result,China lost the eligibility to compete the qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics,and China can only use the wild card to make the final effort to win the qualification for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic.Modern basketball is gradually moving towards the development of small balls,weakening the function of Center-forward.So the position of the small forward,which requires comprehensive skills and excellent physical conditions,is becoming more and more important.Judging from the situation of current men 's basketball World Cup,the international basketball world is changing,and the technical and tactical styles are also quietly changing.Compared with the world 's strong teams,China's men 's basketball team and the world team has a big gap,may be reflected in the position of the small forward gap.The quality of the small forward players has a great impact on the performance of the Chinese men 's basketball team.Based on those,this study uses the literature data method,video observation method,expert interview method and mathematical statistics method to analyze the offensive and defensive ability of the Chinese men 's basketball team,based on the analysis of the World Cup 2019 and the top four teams(Spain,Argentina,France,Australia),From three aspects: The Chinese team small forward and the first four teams small forward body shape,offensive ability,defensive ability to conduct a comparative study.This paper analyzes the differences between the attack and defense between the Chinese small forwards and the first four small forwards,and puts forward some relevant suggestions,which can provide reference materials for theresearch on the attack and defense ability of the Chinese men 's basketball small forwards,It provides the reference basis for Chinese men 's basketball team to obtain the good result in the later world competition.The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Compared with the small forwards of the top four teams in the world,the small forwards of Chinese team are the smallest in age,have obvious advantages in height,and have the lowest in Clito index,which reflects the weakness in overall physical quality.2.In terms of offensive ability,China's small forward ranks the bottom in the field average score,which is significantly different from Spain,France,Argentina and Australia.In terms of total number of shots,total hits,total three-point shots and total free throw shots,China's small forward is significantly lower than other world's strong teams,with two-point shots as the main goal and few three-point shots The low average scoring method is also inconsistent with the mainstream trend of basketball.In addition,China's small forward rebounds are significantly lower than Spain and Argentina's,and assists are significantly lower than Spain and Australia's.3.In terms of defensive ability,the Chinese small forward is significantly less than Spain and Australia in the backboard,and the number of steals is significantly less than Spain and France.
