Research On The Phenomenon Of Contemporary College Students' "Exquisite Egoism"

In 2012,Professor Qian Liqun of Peking University pointed out:Some of our universities are training some "elaborate egoists" who are knowledgeable,sophisticated,and good at using favorable conditions to achieve their goals.Professor Qian's exposition on exquisite egoists has caused heated discussions.The nature and reasons of exquisite egoists on college students need systematic analysis.This article uses the literature research method to collect the opinions of college presidents and netizens on refined egoism.Based on this background,it analyzes the people's demands for "refined egoism." The questionnaire survey was used to analyze the impact of refined egoism on college students' cognition and values.The research results show that the phenomenon of refined egoism of contemporary college students tends to be rationalized,and the thoughts and behaviors of refined egoists will affect the original value judgments of other college students.And value choices.This article enumerates the basic manifestations and causes of exquisite egoism,and finally proposes a path to "exquisite egoism".Based on the existing scholars'description of the exquisite egoism of college students,it is found that the contemporary university students have the following basic manifestations of exquisite egoism:the concealment and self-interest in behavioral performance,the ego and purpose in interpersonal communication,and the concept of learning.The basic manifestations of pragmatism and utilitarianism in employment concepts will have a negative impact on the healthy growth of contemporary college students.
