t eams in the 16th and 17th Asian Cups in the game,finds their similarities and di fferences,and explores the current goals characteristics and development direction of Asian football,so as to contribute to the future development of football in Chi na And learn from.This article uses the literature method,video observation method,mathematica 1 statistics method,and comparative analysis method to analyze the characteristics of the top eight teams in the 16th and 17th Asian Cups to score 128 goals in th e game,and use SPSS20.0,EXCEL performs descriptive statistics,correlation an alysis and other data analysis software on the statistics of related indicators,and organizes the data to analyze the technical and tactical characteristics and rules of the goal characteristics.The study obtained the following results:(1)The quarterfinals of the 17th Cup are more balanced in offensive strength than the teams of the quarterfinals of the 16th.The defensive strength is enhanc ed,the number of shots is reduced,and the average number of goals per game is higher than the 16th quarter-finals team.(2)The total number of goals in the second half of the quarterfinals of the t wo Cups is higher than in the first half.Fifteen minutes before the end of the fir st and second half,this time period is more prone to goals.When the game prog resses to the middle of 61-75 minutes,the fluctuation of the goal is large;the tea m with the first goal in the game is more likely to win the game.In the scoring area,the number of goals in①and②is the most.The 17th quarter-final team has a
