《Mathematics Curriculum Standard》point out that,“On the basis that students understand and can correctly apply formulas,rules and calculations,students are encouraged to use calculators to complete more complicated calculations.In classroom teaching,homework,and practical activities,students should be allowed to use the calculator according to the requirements of the course content.Students should also be encouraged to use the calculator for regular exploration and other activities.” In junior high school,calculators are allowed to use and the use of scientific calculator is introduced in detail in the textbook,therefore,some students have a strong dependence on calculators,and their memory and application of mathematical formula rules are restricted to a certain extent.Mathematical operations,as one of the six core literacy of mathematics,is an important ability and it is also the ability that teachers must focus on the teaching process.It has great significance in teaching and learning throughout the middle school stage.In order to improve students' ability to explore arithmetic,exercise flexibility in mental activities,and get rid of thinking and other comprehensive abilities.Based on the policy of prohibiting candidates from using calculators in mathematics and comprehensive subjects in the 2019 middle school entrance examination in Guiyang,this article investigates and analyzes the status of the computing power of middle school students in Guiyang in combination with frontline teaching,combined with front-line teaching,surveyed and analyzed the current situation of computing ability of middle school students in Guiyang,and concluded the differences in computing ability of students at different levels and grades,and how should this influence be reflected in teaching in the end,what adjustments should be made to teachers 'teaching methods in response to this phenomenon,and how should students' learning methods be changed.This paper mainly uses literature research,questionnaire survey,analysis and other research methods,based on the existing theory,according to the research ideas of determining test questionnaire,collecting data,sorting out data and analyzing data,some conclusions are drawn:First,without using a calculator,students will try to think about simple methods when they encounter complex calculations;Second,some of the students who are below the middle level are less sensitive to numbers and cannot convert between decimals and scores;Third,when it is difficult to input the calculated figures into the calculator,most students will choose to do the written or mental calculation;Fourth,the calculation process of the students' answers is more complete and detailed,and the steps are clearer,but the symbols and numbers are still wrong.Fifth,students' ability to review questions has improved,but their logical thinking is not strict enough.Combining the above,suggest that front-line teachers should strengthen the following tasks: First,strengthen the ability to guide students in reading questions and dig digital information as much as possible.Second,diverge students 'thinking and develop students' ability to "multiple solutions".Third,improve the calculation process,and "calculate with teachers and students" in class.Fourth,cultivate students 'algebraic thinking and equation thinking,and strengthen the cultivation of students' comprehensive ability.
