Undergraduate education is the soul of university construction and development.As early as 2007,China has clarified the concept of first-class undergraduate education,emphasizing that building first-class undergraduate education is the cornerstone and breakthrough for Chinese universities in the new era to become world-class universities.This puts forward higher requirements for the construction of university teachers.In many ordinary colleges and universities in China,young teachers occupy half of the entire university's teaching team,is the main force of college education and teaching,and undertakes the main work of undergraduate education in schools.In recent years,with the continuous deepening of the "double first-class" construction,first-class undergraduate education has accelerated again.In the new situation of accelerating the construction of first-class undergraduate education,the level of young teachers' ability is directly related to the success or failure of the construction of first-class undergraduate education.Therefore,investigating the professional development of young teachers in ordinary colleges and universities,exploring the problems and root causes,and seeking corresponding countermeasures have a positive significance for the healthy development of higher education.Based on the needs of first-class undergraduate education construction,this article analyzes the relevant literature on the professional development of young teachers in colleges,defines the main concepts,determines the research methods,and expounds the new situation of first-class undergraduate education through the discussion of the concepts and value of first-class undergraduate education.Opportunities and Challenges Facing the Professional Development of Young Teachers,Laying a More Reliable Foundation for Research.The thesis takes the current situation of the professional development of young teachers in ordinary colleges and universities as a logical starting point,and investigates the status of the professional development of young teachers through questionnaires and interviews.The survey shows that the development of ideological and political education,professional development motivation,teaching ability,and scientific research ability of young teachers in ordinary colleges and universities is not balanced.Many young teachers have weak ideological and political literacy and strong utilitarian consciousness.,The teaching literacy is obviously insufficient;the professional development awareness is weak,the professional attitude is not correct;the professional belief is not firm enough,and the burnout period is greatly advanced.The analysis found that its roots are that the open social environment has impacted the ideological and political consciousness of young teachers,the inadequate management system has weakened the motivation for professional development of young teachers,the lack of effective training mechanisms has hindered the improvement of young teachers' teaching ability,and insufficient social recognition Reduced the sustainability of young teachers' professional development,and some young teachers lacked a feasible plan for their professional development.To this end,it is necessary to strengthen the ideological guidance of young teachers and enhance the professional image of young teachers;young teachers should pay attention to the promotion of their professional values and tap the potential of professional development;promote the effective combination of teaching literacy and scientific research literacy to achieve the two-way development of teaching and scientific research;Institutionalization of professional development,providing a fundamental guarantee for professional development.Obviously,young teachers who have obtained sufficient professional development will become a reliable guarantee for the construction of first-class undergraduates in ordinary universities,thereby promoting the healthy and rapid development of higher education in China. |
