Patriotism is historical.As a kind of deep affection for the motherland,it has long been the spiritual driving force for a country's progress,and it is also the spiritual pillar on which a nation depends.But patriotism is also specific.The content of patriotism is not static,it is constantly given new connotations with the development of the times.Against the background of economic globalization and Sino-US trade friction,the patriotism of some high school students has weakened.As a reserve force for building the country,high school students shoulder the heavy task of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,we must give play to the role of the main position of patriotism education in school ideological and political lessons,and further strengthen the patriotism education of high school students in the context of the new era.This paper is based on high school ideological and political classroom teaching.First,it explains the concepts of patriotism,school patriotism education and the characteristics of patriotism education in high school ideological and political courses.Second,this article uses a literature analysis method based on the requirements of school education and high school thinking.The requirements of the characteristics of the politics subject and related theories clarify the necessity and theoretical basis of patriotism education in high school ideological and political courses,and according to the questionnaire survey method and interview survey method,a questionnaire survey of patriotism-related content of some high school students and teachers and Interviews and surveys,and analysis of the survey data,found that at this stage,patriotism education in the ideological and political classes in high schools has problems such as abstract content and weak patriotism in teachers;Finally,based on the existing problems of patriotism education in the ideological and political course of senior high school at the current stage,we should strengthen the essential education of patriotism,that is,"patriotic patriotism and love socialism consistency" as the starting point,relying on strengthening the construction of the ideological and political teacher team Combining effective teaching and extra-curricular practice activities to improve students' patriotic knowledge,feelings,intentions and behaviors.The patriotism education of high school students is of great significance.They are the top priority of patriotism education.Therefore,we must make full use of the role of the main position of ideological and political education in high school,carry out patriotism education,cultivate students' patriotism and spirit,and make high school students Become the builder and successor of future socialism.
