The concept of weights and measures plays an important role in elementary school mathematics knowledge system.There are many students in the learning process,often can not deeply understand the concept of measurement and measurement,and the types of measurement units are more,various units of measurement rate is not exactly the same,plus primary school students in this aspect of the perceptual knowledge is less,it is difficult to establish the concept of various units of measurement.The concept of weights and measures has extensive application,so it is of great significance and function to explore the optimization teaching of the concept of weights and measures.So in the related research literature analysis to sort out,on the basis of combining human version of elementary school mathematics teaching material and their own learning experience and thinking,based on the Mongolian primary school teacher questionnaires and in-depth classes to observe and view the students' exercises after the collection and analysis,found some problems,puts forward some teaching strategies to solve these problems,hope to first-line teachers have some reference value.This paper consists of six chapters.In the first chapter,it explains the reason for selecting the topic,the purpose of the research and its significance.In the second chapter,the concept definition,theoretical basisand development history of weights and measures are explained.Chapter three makes a detailed statistics of the contents of weights and measures in the mathematics teaching materials used in middle Mongolian teaching primary schools,and puts forward the selection of contents and teaching Suggestions.In the fourth chapter,the teaching status of Mongolian elementary school mathematics weights and measures is investigated by means of questionnaire survey,classroom observation,and examination of students' practice questions and examination papers.In the specific teaching,teachers do not explain much about the history of weights and measures.The ability of teachers to connect knowledge with real life is still lacking.In the classroom operation activity,does not fully mobilize the student's subjectivity.Students have a poor understanding of the concept of weights and measures;The unit is not unified,the unit is not written,the unit conversion is not correct;There is no estimation consciousness or poor estimation ability.In the fifth chapter,the relevant strategies and practical cases of teaching weights and measures are discussed.Chapter six is the summary of the article and the teaching Suggestions and prospects.Suggestions for Mongolian primary school teachers :(1)teachers should properly teach the history of weights and measures.(2)reasonable selection and arrangement of teaching content.(3)provide students with opportunities for inquiry and hands-on learning.(4)developstudents' ability to accurately select units of measurement.(5)guide students to summarize the conversion between units of measurement.
