| On November 18,2003,China's General Administration of Sports officially approved electronic sports as the ninety-ninth formal sports event.E-sport is a new sport with science and technology as its core.In order to promote the development of E-sports rapidly in China,China has launched different kinds of E-sports professional events.With its novel and unique competitive way,it has been continuously helped and recognized by all walks of life,and it is deeply loved by the masses.The key factor of the development of E-sports professional events is to determine the development of E-sports.As E-sports professional events flourish in China,League of Legends Pro League has been the most successful and representative E-sports professional event in China.This study takes League of Legends Pro League,an electronic sports professional event in China as the research object.The research methods include literature,comparative analysis and logical analysis.Firstly,the related concepts of E-sports and League of Legends Pro League are explained by using the method of documentation.Secondly,the related research on E-sports as well as its status at home and abroad is summarized in an all-round way.The process of League of Legends Pro League in China,the development status of League of Legends Pro League competition system and League of Legends Pro League are respectively studied by comparative analysis and logical analysis.Meanwhile,the present situation of management system and the current situation of League of Legends Pro League industry are analyzed in depth.Thirdly,the problems and deficiencies during the development of League of Legends Pro League are summarized: 1.The League of Legends Pro League professional athletes are still insufficient,and the professional athletes who have reached the international high level are very scarce.2.Because of lacking humanistic management of League of Legends Pro League clubs,League of Legends Pro League professional players in the competition and the League of Legends Pro League club's development are affected seriously;3.Due to short of the sponsorship funds for their operation,most of the League of Legends Pro League clubsare in a state of deficit;4.Professional players have the low salary,which results in the loss of a large number of outstanding professional athletes;5.League of Legends Pro League lacks the training materials in the education and training of employees,resulting in the low professionalism of League of Legends Pro League practitioners and the marketing of League of Legends Pro League core industry.6.The gap between the amount and the League of Legends Pro League derivative industry's marketing volume has increased year by year,and the operation investment of the tournament has been greatly reduced,thus reducing the level of the competition and the number of people watching the match.At present,there is a clear gap between the broadcasting rights of League of Legends Pro League and other sports professional events of China CBA and CSL,and League of Legends Pro League has not yet risen to the height of sports professional events.Finally,according to the existing problems,the following countermeasures are put forward from five aspects: 1.Improving the training level of the League of Legends Pro League team and learning the training methods from the e-competitive power LOL professional teams;2.China's electronic sports related management institutions formulate unified,scientific and suitable management regulations and norms;3.The relevant government departments promulgate fund support policy of the League of Legends Pro League clubs,and encourage the sponsors to invest the League of Legends Pro League clubs;4.The national education department strengthens the education and training of E-sports practitioners to improve the education level of League of Legends Pro League practitioners.5.Integrating the traditional Chinese culture into League of Legends Pro League,and striving to create the international top sports professional events. |
