The overall academic situation of college students majoring in sports training is not optimistic,which has been highly concerned by higher educational scholars.The literature review shows that time management disposition and academic self-efficacy play an important role in the cultivation of sports training professionals.This paper,through investigating students majoring in sports training from Shenyang Sport University,explores the correlation between time management disposition and academic self-efficacy.On the basis of the investigation,this paper provides optimization strategies of time management disposition and academic self-efficacy,which will enhance students' learning state,time management ability as well as academic situations.By using questionnaire,case study,and an in-depth interview,the study investigates the learning status and time management of sports training college students through time management disposition scale and academic self-efficacy scale.The results show:(1)The average scores of time management disposition and academic self-efficacy are 3.7 and 3.3 respectively,indicating they are both in the medium level.The correlation coefficient between time management disposition and academic self-efficacy is 0.714,showing a highly positive correlation.(2)There is no difference in time management disposition among students of different genders,while there exists a difference in academic self-efficacy.The results show that boys have better time management disposition and academic self-efficacy than girls.(3)There are differences in time management disposition and academic self-efficacy among college students in different grades.As grades grow,time management tendencies and academics self-efficacy both show a downward trend,and the situation is even worse among junior students.(4)There are significant differences in time management tendencies among college students at different training levels,but the academic self-efficacy shows no differences.In terms of both time management tendencies and academic self-efficacy,the first-level athletes perform better than the second-level athletes,while the second-level athletes perform better than the elite athletes,indicating the elite athletes are the worst.(5)There are no difference in time management disposition and academic self-efficacy among college students in different sports projects.But college students majoring in team sports training are better than individual sports training students in time management tendencies and academic self-efficacy.According to the results of this study,the following optimization strategies are put forward:(1)internal promotion strategies for college students majoring in sports training include: Establishing academic goals scientifically,Reasonably arranging studies,Cultivating selfmonitoring ability,and strengthening the ability of solving problems.(2)external security strategy of college students majoring in sports training include: optimizing training programs,reforming teaching content,strengthening time supervision,regulating group guidance,and strengthening the power of models.
