The May 4th Movement of the last century had left us valuable spiritual wealth,and its' rich cultural connotation still nourishes college students in the new era and encourages them to forge ahead.Ideological and political education is an important way to inherit the spirit of the May 4th Movement,it is also an important way to carry forward the spirit of the May 4th Movement.It is of great significance for the all-round development of college students to integrate the May 4th spirit into the ideological and political education of college students in the new era.There is a close relationship between the May 4th spirit and the ideological and political education of college students in the new era.But through the questionnaire survey we can found that the way of students learning May 4th knowledge needs to be expanded.Some students are not deep enough in understanding and thinking about the May 4th spirit.Some students are not consistent when they carry forward the May 4th spirit.Some students' understanding of the May 4th spiritual education is not deep enough.These problems are mainly caused by the deviation of educational concepts and methods,the lack of strong campus cultural atmosphere,the lack of sound social practice education system,and the insufficient function of network education.To further promote the integration of the May 4th spirit into the ideological and political education of college students in the new era,we should take the "four classrooms" constructed by classroom teaching,campus culture,social practice and network media as the main position,adhere to the leading role of "the first classroom",and integrate the May 4th spirit into the "ideological and political courses" and "course ideological and political education".Give play to the influence of "the second classroom",and integrate the May 4th spirit into "ideological and political activities";Expand the influence of "the third classroom" and integrate the May 4th spirit into the "practical ideological and political";Attach importance to the guiding role of "the fourth classroom" and integrate the May 4th spirit into the "network ideology and politics".
