The basis of textbook compilation is an important carrier of curriculum reform,which can provide reference value for textbook compilation in China through the comparison of Chinese and foreign textbooks.Circle is the first graph shape that pupils know in primary school stage,and it lays a good foundation for students to learn cylinder,cone and other graph shapes after that.Starting with the representative primary school mathematics teaching materials of China,the United States and Singapore,the contents of "circle" in primary school mathematics textbooks of Chinese teaching edition,California edition of the United States and Singapore target mathematics edition are taken as the research objects,and the content distribution,column setting,content presentation,examples and exercises of "circle" contents in textbooks are compared and studied.This study uses the literature method,the comparative research method and the content analysis method to carry on the comparative research to the Chinese teaching edition,the American California edition,the Singapore target mathematics edition elementary school mathematics textbook "round" content.Based on the research,the following conclusions are mainly drawn:First,in terms of content distribution,a comparative study was made on the layout framework,layout location and quantity,unit structure and layout design of the "circle" content in the new elementary school mathematics textbooks of China and the United States.In terms of arrangement framework,the textbooks of the three countries all arrange the content of "circle" in the high school of primary school.In terms of the number of pages,the "circle" content of the target mathematics version accounted for the most pages,followed by the educational version,and the California version was the least.In terms of unit structure,the teaching materials in the three countries are all organized by chapters,but the teaching contents are different.In terms of layout design,the textbooks of the three countries are featured with pictures and pictures and bright colors,but the layout of the primary school mathematics textbooks of the California version and the target mathematics version is larger and less compact than that of the pep version.Secondly,in terms of column setting,there are 8 columns in the pep edition,19 columns in the California edition and 8 columns in the target mathematics edition.In terms of the number of columns,the California version has the most columns,with the same number of pep and target math.Thirdly,in terms of content presentation,the teaching materials of the three countries are different in the introduction part of "understanding of circles",and different ways are adopted to understand the center,radius and diameter of a circle.The formula of circumference and area of a circle is derived in a similar way,but the content of each section is introduced in a different way.Fourth,in terms of the situation types of the examples,the people's education version is dominated by the social life situation and the personal life situation,while the California version and the target mathematics version are dominated by the non-background.In terms of the presentation mode of example problems,the pep edition was dominated by no solutions,while the California edition and the target mathematics edition were dominated by only solutions.In the illustration presentation of the example,the pep edition is mainly based on historical data,while the California edition and the target mathematics edition are mainly based on model diagrams.In terms of exercise opening,the textbooks of The Three Kingdoms have fewer open exercises and more closed exercises.In terms of the difficulty of problem sets,the textbooks of the three countries all accounted for less in terms of background and comprehensive level of knowledge,while the distribution of the other three factors was not obvious.According to the conclusion of the article,the author gives some suggestions for compiling textbooks and teaching strategies:1.Preparation of recommendations:(1)Add interest and flexibility to the round content authoring structure;(2)The number of examples can be increased appropriately,and the presentation method is diversified;(3)Exercises at the background level to appropriately reduce the level of no background,more with the life situation and scientific situation combined.2.Teaching strategies:(1)Classroom activities are more interesting and open;(2)Appropriate expansion of teaching content;(3)Design open exercises.
