Research On The Communication Bias Of Public Expression In Social Media Environment

As a higher level of language communication,public expression is the behavior of the public to use social media platforms to publicly express opinions,opinions,and exchange and debate on social and public affairs involving their public interests.Because of the existence of public expression,human beings are unique.Species also provide the necessary conditions for the formation and healthy operation of society.From the perspective of media environment,the theory of communication bias believes that the media's inherent physical properties and symbol characteristics make the medium itself carry a certain bias.With the continuous progress of communication technology and the emergence of social media,the theory of communication bias is constantly updated rich.In the age of social media,public expression is still influenced by the nature and function of social media,the relationship and motivation of the subject,the composition and content of issues,and the social environment.It will still have a certain bias in the process of communication.In order to further study the issues related to the bias of public expression in the social media environment,this paper uses an empirical analysis method to analyze the results of in-depth interviews and questionnaires.The existence and changes of six aspects: sensory bias,relationship bias,motivation bias,content bias,and environmental bias.The public uses social media platforms to publicly express their views and opinions on an event or issue,and their public expression and communication bias will have certain social effects.This is not only conducive to the improvement of civic awareness and the realization of public participation,the formation of social atmosphere and the promotion of social values,but also the construction of the public domain.However,due to the existence of false information,irrational expressions,cyber violence,"media trials",group polarization,and excessive entertainment,public communication biases willalso have negative social effects and hinder the benign development of the expression environment.Facing these problems requires the tripartite cooperation and common governance of the government,market and society.Only through a series of measures by the government to improve laws and regulations and build a service-oriented government;strengthen the media management and self-discipline of the media industry;promote the integration of the media;improve the quality of the public and cultivate opinion leaders;The public realm of socialism.
