Comparative Analysis Of Offensive And Defensive Ability Of China Men's National Team Guards And Opposing Guards During The 2019 Basketball World Cup

In this paper,the offensive and defensive ability of Chinese men's basketball guards and opponent guards in 2019 Men's Basketball World Cup is taken as the research object,and the first five matches of each team are included in the research scope to ensure the comparative reference of data,mainly using the research methods of literature,questionnaire,video observation and mathematical statistics to analyze the technical and tactical characteristics of Chinese and foreign guards.Analyzing the differences in offensive and defensive ability between Chinese men's basketball guards and opponents assists in understanding more comprehensively the characteristics and advantages of Chinese men's basketball guards,find out the shortcomings between them,explore the possibility of improvement and put forward corresponding opinions and suggestions,so as to provide reference for China's men's basketball team to prepare for greater success at the Tokyo Olympic Games and strive for qualification to future world competitions.Summary of research findings:1.Age and body shape indicators: Chinese men's basketball guards are young,and lack of experience in the field leads to immature handling ability in key in-game situations.Venezuelan players have the most experience in the field,followed by Poland and South Korea.In terms of overall height,there is no difference between Chinese men's basketball guards and all teams,but there is obvious difference between Chinese men's basketball guards and Poland's and Nigeria's individual guards.Venezuela employs a small-fast-flexible style to compliment the shorter height of its players.Compared with Poland,Nigeria and Venezuela,there is a significant gap in the weight level of Chinese men's basketball guards.In the ketole index,the average Chinese men's basketball guard is obviously inferior to the opponent,which directly leads to unfavorable results in offensive and defensive confrontations.Nigeria and Venezuela are the best in terms of physical fitness and competitiveness.2.Offensive ability: Chinese men's basketball guards have limited scoring ability,rely too much on long-range shooting,produce unreliable field-goal percentages with subsequent low scoring efficiency,and fall well short of acceptable free throw shooting standards.The guards of the Poland and Nigeria teams have the most outstanding scoring ability,with comprehensive scoring method and a high success rate.The guards of the China Men's basketball team have strong organizational ability,but the richness and threat of passing need to be further strengthened.The guards of China Men's basketball team achieve average levels of performance in offensive rebounding and drawing fouls—areas in which the Nigerian and Polish teams excel.Among Chinese men's basketball guards,Guo Allun's scoring ability is comparatively outstanding,Zhao Jiwei has strong tactical ability,Fang Shuo has the strongest shooting ability,Zhao Rui's comprehensive offensive ability is average,and Sun Minghui's offensive ability is limited.3.Defensive ability: Chinese men's basketball guards are the worst among all teams studied in securing rebounds,instead relying on frontcourt players.Their in-game concentration levels and vigilance in securing rebounds are not high enough,and judgment in rebound positioning is not accurate enough.Poland and Nigeria have the best defensive-rebounding guards.The defenders of Chinese men's basketball team are not good enough to control the defensive fouls and grasp the timing of fouls according to proper situational tactics,while Poland and Ivory Coast are the best.The Chinese men's basketball team has outstanding performance in obtaining steals,strong defensive enthusiasm and a distinct aggressive defensive attitude.Poland and Nigeria are particularly good at blocking shots,and have a superior grasp in the timing of blocking.On the whole,Poland and Nigeria are at the forefront of defense.As far as individual players are concerned,Zhao Rui and Sun Minghui have outstanding defensive ability,while other players have average defensive performance.
