| Picture books are important material and content for early childhood reading.Picture book reading helps to enrich children's cognitive experience and promote children's language and thinking development.As the educational value of picture books continues to be recognized,picture book teaching activities in kindergartens have gradually increased.In picture book teaching activities,reasonable educational support can help children understand picture books better,stimulate reading interest,cultivate reading habits,and provide children with a good reading experience.Therefore,this study analyzes the current situation of teacher support in kindergarten large-scale picture book teaching,and aims to find the reasonable and inadequate areas of teacher support in the current picture book teaching activities,and proposes improvement suggestions for early childhood teachers to carry out picture book teaching activities.This study uses the literature and observation methods,and use one of the three areas of the Classroom assessment scoring system---teacher support area as a research tool.Assess teachers' support in picture book teaching activities from three dimensions,concept development,feedback quality,and language demonstration.Observe and grade 30 kindergarten big class picture book teaching activities.The research results show that in the kindergarten large class picture book teaching activities,teachers' conceptual development,quality feedback,and language demonstration support are at a moderately low level,and there are certain problems.Among them,the support of language demonstration is the worst.The effectiveness of teacher education support in picture book teaching activities is not satisfactory.After analyzing the video materials of picture book teaching activities,it is found that the specific problems of teacher support in picture book teaching activities are as follows:Teachers don't pay enough attention to promoting the development of children 's thinking;the teacher 's response form is solid;the feedback provided by teachers is limited;there are fewer channelsfor classroom communication;teachers' language demonstration is poor.Finally,on the basis of the results of the study,suggestions are made to improve the problems of teacher support in picture book teaching activities:Teachers improve the quality of questioning;explore a richer picture book teaching model;improve effective answering ability;improve their language demonstration ability. |
