Confucius Classroom is an important platform of Confucius Institutes to carry out Chinese language teaching activities and propagate the Chinese cultural,It's an important window for cultural promotion and a channel for people all over the world to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture.The operation of Confucius Classroom has a direct influence on the Chinese cultural communication.This research takes the Confucius Classroom of Ferdinand I National High School under the Confucius Institute of Bucharest University in Romania as the research object.On the one hand,the purpose is to make up the gap of the Confucius Classroom researching in Romania.On the other hand,it is also to present the Chinese teaching situation of Confucius Classroom around the world.Firstly,introduce the operation and development of the Confucius Classroom of Ferdinand I National High School in detail.Then,based on the results of questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students,Confucius classroom development problems' at this stage are analyzed from below aspects: Chinese learners,teachers,teaching resources,curriculum set-up,Chinese teaching methods and Chinese practice activities.Through the analysis,Confucius Classroom facilities of the Ferdinand I National High School are well-developed,and students and parents are positive about the development of Confucius Classroom.However,problems still exist in Confucius Classroom's management and curriculum settings,the mobility of Chinese teachers,single source of students in Confucius Classroom,lack of localized teaching materials and teaching resources,etc.Based on teaching experience and interview results,the author putsforward concrete suggestions for the problems existing in Confucius Classroom of Ferdinand I National High School: firstly,about Confucius Classroom Management and Chinese Course Setting,Confucius Classroom Brand Building needs to be strengthened,and the communication and cooperation with other teaching points should be deepened.At the same time,we should enrich the curriculum and accelerate the curriculum transformation.In the aspect of Confucius classroom teacher resources,we should strengthen training,promote the improvement of the comprehensive quality of Chinese teachers,stabilize the teaching staff and carry out cooperative education.In the aspect of classroom teaching,we should enrich the teaching methods and pay more attention to the teaching of Chinese characters and textbooks.In terms of resources,we should speed up the research and the development of textbooks.In terms of Chinese activities,we should innovate the forms of activities so we can increase the promotion of the Chinese culture and Chinese language.Finally,the author puts forward some constructive suggestions in the development of the Confucius classroom and points out the shortcomings of this report.Hopefully,this report will be useful to a better construction and sustainable development of the Confucius classroom in Romania.
