The new round of curriculum reform emphasizes the cultivation of the discipline core literacy of biology,among which the life idea is the discipline core literacy with the most characteristics of biology."The idea of material and energy" is one of the important life idea,which can help students to understand life from the perspective of "material" and "energy".Therefore,teaching "the idea of material and energy" is very important to cultivate the core quality of biology and realize the subject value.Although foreign countries have carried out systematic research on the interdisciplinary concepts of "material" and "energy" for many years,the related research on "the idea of material and energy" in China is still immature,and the research system is still imperfect.So,this paper will focus on exploring the possible construction process of "the idea of material and energy" in the basic education stage of biology in China,and provide reference for cultivating this concept.Firstly,using the literature methodology,we can get the enlightenment of biological research from the related research of "material" and "energy" at home and abroad,clarify the concept of "the idea of material and energy" of biological discipline,and elaborate the basic theory and cultivation the theory of this idea,thus establish the concept research system composed of the knowledge,migration and value orientation of the concept.The advanced learning process of "the idea of material and energy" is studied by taking "knowledge" and "migration" as the advanced variables and the process of ecosystem carbon change as the advanced dimension.Therefore,it took the advanced dimension of understanding the process of "tree growth" as an example: 1)through the text analysis method,it constructed the knowledge progression of understanding the process dimension of "tree growth" in the basic education stage;2)using the method of interview survey,this paper constructed the migration advanced dimension of students' understanding the process dimension of "tree growth" in the basic education stage;3)through the experimental research method,it was verified that the results of knowledge progression andmigration progression,which can effectively guide classroom teaching practice and improve the students' understanding of the process of "tree growth".Therefore,this study defines the concept and connotation of "the idea of material and energy",establishes a more reasonable idea research system,focuses on the advanced learning achievements to reveal the possible process of constructing "the idea of material and energy" for students and provides ideas for teaching and cultivation,which provides some reference for the scientific research and teaching practice of "the idea of material and energy" in biology subject.
