High school is a critical period for a person's development.During this period,they must face academic pressure,expectations of parents and teachers,complex interpersonal relationships,and other physical and psychological stresses.These will cause high-school students to be prone to a series of psychological problems.Health problems and even suicidal thoughts.The lack of sense of life is one of the reasons for this extreme situation.Understanding the status of high school students' sense of life meaning and suicidal idea will help schools to carry out mental health education and make individuals clearly understand the meaning of life,so as to pursue and obtain their own life value.Based on the existing literature,this study used the sense of life scale,coping style questionnaire,and suicidal ideation scale to take 500 high school students in Lanzhou as subjects to discuss the sense of life and coping styles.The relationship between mode and suicidal ideation.The research results show that from the perspective of demographic variables,there is no significant difference in the meaning of life,suicidal ideation and coping style in terms of gender.There is no significant difference in the meaning of life,suicidal ideation,and passive coping in terms of whether there is only one child,but there is a significant difference in whether or not there is only one child in active coping,and the positive coping style of only children is better than that of non-only children.In terms of grades,there are significant differences in sense of life,suicidal ideation,and coping styles.The sense of life meaning of the second grade is significantly higher than that of the first grade;the suicidal ideation of the third grade is significantly higher than that of the first grade and the second grade.In terms of negative coping,the third grade of higher grades adopted negative coping styles more frequently than the second grade of high grades.From the perspective of sense of life meaning,suicidal ideation and coping style,high school students' sense of life is negatively correlated with suicidal ideation and negative coping,and positively correlated with positive coping.Negative coping style was positively correlated with suicidal ideation,and positive coping style was negatively correlated with suicidal ideation.The contribution rate of sense of life to suicidal ideation was 44.1%,the contribution rate increased to 57% after the addition of positive coping styles,and thecontribution rate was 54.5% after the addition of negative coping styles,the contribution rate was significantly improved,and the sense of life was still suicidal Ideas have significant influence,so high school students' coping styles play a part of mediating role between meaning in life and suicidal ideation.
