The Design And Implementation Of Home Care Monitoring System Based On Internet Of Things Technology

All the countries,especially developing countries,are facing the problems of an ageing population.With the advent of an ageing society,the problem of the elderly nursing care has become more and more serious.Nursing at home has always been common for the elderly in China.However,the lack of care for the elderly and their personal safety results from the increase of the proportion of the only children,most of who are busy in studying and working outside.Therefore,the home care monitoring system design is of great importance to the geriatric nursing.This paper designs and develops a home care monitoring system based on the Internet of things technology.The system consists of three parts,that is the Zig Bee wireless sensor network,the ARM9 gateway and the client.The main works of this paper are as follows:Firstly,Texas Instruments' CC2530 is implemented as the main control chip of Zig Bee,and the wireless sensor network is built by using the Z-stack protocol stack,which collects the residential environment information of the elderly and converges it to the coordinator.The coordinator sends data to the ARM9 gateway through the serial port for analyzing and processing.Secondly,the ARM9 gateway was designed,in which S5PV210 produced by Samsung of South Korea is used as the main control chip.Because its advantages of hardware and software modifiability,the embedded Linux operating system is transplanted on the gateway with the corresponding driver configured.Moreover,the MJPG-Streamer video server is transplanted and developed in the ARM9 gateway.The video server can collect the environmental data and achieve the video surveillance through the serial port and USB camera call.The remote client realizes the remote monitoring and household facilities control by establishing a TCP connection with the video server.Finally,since that the incidence of falls in the elderly is as high as 62%,this paper also designs a mobile fall detection terminal,which uses STM32F101C8T6 as the main control chip and integrates GSM module,CC2530 module,MPU9250 module and GPS module to achieve the indoor and outdoor positioning,fall detection and SMS alarm.After testing,the accuracy of the mobile fall detection terminal is 93.8%,indicating that it can be basically applied to the daily life of the elderly.
