With the wide application and popularization of the Intermet,the forms of social information system are various.Apart from personal and interpersonal communication extended from the micro system,group communication under the medium system is also indispensable.However,throughout domestic study,researches on group communication,an important branch of comnunication,are quite few and researches on small groups are fewer.Other disciplines,such as management and sociology,their studies of group and organization are relatively rich,which involve the defining,building,learning and performance of the group.Based on the group,this study focuses on the communication behavior of the virtual tean in MOBA online games.Firstly,the method of literature analysis is used to identify and measure different dimensions of this team,s communication and its effect.The team communication is subdivided into communication frequency,level of communication and conflict resolution;The effect of team communication is measured respectively through two dimensions which are the team atmosphere and the team performance.Meanwhile,based on the perspective of expectancy theory,the variable called task expectancy is introduced to measure the correlation degree between team communication and itself,thus to enrich and supplement the application of expectancy theory in the study of online games.After investigating game groups,referring to literature and deepening the interview,one contribution of our study is to make a measuring form of the team communication among teenage players in MOBA online games.According to the result of data analysis,we find that this self-made questionnaire has good reliability and validity.Thus,the team communication research model has been built up.This study adopts questionnaire survey,452 effective questionnaires were got back.Among them,400 were filled by players of MOBA online games and had met the requirement of the answer.Then the sample data were analyzed through spss20.0 software.Results show that(1)the structure and the skill level of the team affects the frequency,level of communication and conflict resolution positively.The task expectation has a positive influence on the frequency and level of communication and also does not have a positive correlation with conflict resolution.(2)The level of communication and conflict resolution both have positive impact on trust in the team,but the frequency of communication does not do so.Frequency of communication,level of communication and conflict resolution all have positive influence on team identification.Communication level,team trust and team identification do benefits for completing the task.But the frequency of communication and conflict resolution have no positive correlation with completing the task.Communication frequency,communication level,team trust and team identification all have positive influence on members' satisfaction,but conflict resolution has no positive correlation with it.The result of this research shows that the team structure,team skill level and task expectancy all have obvious relevance with team communication.Some factors of team communication have obvious connection with team atmosphere and team performance.The revised model reflects that communication in the youth team plays an important role in MOBA online games.For objects of this study are random consisting teams in MOBA online games,so members are quite different from each other.They may differ in skills,regional habits,age,educational background,personality and values.Team communication combines these individuals together to achieve maximum value and reflects the main power of the collective.Therefore,when studying models of team communication in MOBA ouline games,team communication is a core factor.The effect of team communication measured respectively by two dimensions which are the team atmosphere and the team performance can objectively reflect the effect of team communication in MOBA online games.This has a close relationship with the background of the online game and the team members,consciousness and ability to use media in online games.For in public games of virtual online games,the period of cooperation among members is very short,and there is high heterogeneity among people and the gap is more obvious.In order to achieve good communication effect,internal effective communication is quite necessary.A unit with highly effective communication level can be formed by producing cohesion quickly through the same target.
