Implementation Of The Smart FAQ Answering System Based On Ontology Repository

As the Internet technology has developed rapidly in recent decades,Internet teaching has become an effect way for people to learn,thus meeting their increasing need for a wealth of knowledge and information.Smart FAQ Answering System is a very important part of Internet teaching.But the existing FAQs are still inefficient mainly due to a lack of system's AI(Artificial-intelligence)and an insufficiency of database standardization.The lack of AI is mainly indicated by the system's requirement of purely textual logic combinations of key words to be used to ask questions online,without sufficient support for natural language;and the insufficiency of database standarization makes it quite hard to realize the sharing and re-using of knowledge resources.Ontology is not only able to support logical reasoning and conceptual hierachical structure,but also able to express sematic entities by connnecting different concepts.With a deeper research into the computer ontology and its application,we now have began to try putting the science into an Smart FAQ Answering System as well as data retrieval,and studies based on ontology has became a hot topic in today's computer network study.This paper first briefly introduces the current development of FAQ Answering Systems,including related technologies and theories;then applies ontology construction tools to establish a minor software engineering curricular domain based on successfully ontology engineering;then designs and realizes an Smart FAQ Answering System based on the domain ontology;and in the end,assesses the experimental system and further explores the possible problems the system might cause.To be more exact,the research includes key points as follow:Design of the System based on ontology database,the current research and existing problems of question-answering systems.Details of the analysis of the system's functional models and system design are also given.Human-computer interaction research based on the understanding of natural language,including the analysis of index questions,key word matching and the calculation of matching degrees.Establishment of the Ontology Repository according to the current research,construction methods and its recent application combined with the attempt to use the lessons from successful ontology construction and teaching needs,especially the establishing process of software engineering curricular domain's knowledge ontology and the displaying result.Realization of the curricular System according to the researches into FAQ Answering Systems based on the Ontology Repository.The System provides a natural language questioning interface.It can effectively answer most questions in this domain through the interface which can questioning and answer,thus being quite applicable.Except for the realization process,this paper also showed some system realization screenshots,analyzed its function and compared with another similar system.It has proved the applicability of the theoretical research on the basis of experimental results.
