| With the development of the Internet and optical communication technology,the global optical communication market is becoming more and more competitive.How to reduce the cost and improve the production efficiency has become an important issue for optical devices and optical module manufacturers to consider.Traditional coaxial optical device costs much because of more materials and complex packaging technology.Therefore,the use of COB packaging technology to develop a new form of device packaging,to change the mode of production of optical devices to reduce the cost and improve the overall efficiency of the module is of great significance to the production of high-speed,low-cost.10G SFP+ SR optical module is the most widely used in short-distance interconnection of high-speed optical communication.Based on this model,a COB component is designed and made.The main contents can be summarized as follows:(1)Through the COB technology and laser technology and the working principle of optical modules and other aspects of the analysis,the structure of COB components,chip layout and optical lens are introduced in detail.According to the structure of the lens,the principle of the photoelectric conversion function of the COB module is explained.(2)In this paper,the optical path design of COB module is studied deeply,and the optical path coupling scheme of the double-lens composite optical system is proposed.The coupling efficiency of the COB module is calculated and analyzed,and the image distance formula is deduced.The optimal optical path parameters are obtained and the optical path design is completed.According to the design of the optical path,the coupling tolerance is simulated and measured,analysis of the results and the conclusion are given.(3)The optical module COB production process is introduced in detail.The testplatform is designed and built.The photoelectric characteristic of the developed sample module is tested,and the test results and analysis are given.The innovation of this paper is to design and manufacture a new type of package COB technology components to replace the original optical components,the new components fully meet the requirements of optical modules and optical performance is good.Due to the low-cost,high-efficiency production mode of the new package components,it will guide the production and development of optical modules and devices in the future. |
