| This paper Starts from the point Yan made,which he thought a kind of individualism different form its western definition appeared in China.And the paper takes The Mediator of Qiantang of ZTV 6 as a case,focused on 92 mediating cases of 48 episodes to discuss what kind of resources the TV mediation program borrowed to intervened in private life,and how responded to the problem of moral transformation in China.What's more,what kind of image was established through.The study believes that TV mediation program establish a moral aspect.The progranm establishes its role of authority through constructing the narrative by simplification and legibility,taking advantage of traditional culture resources such as niangjiu(brother of one's mother).At the same time,the meditors construct its authority through embeding in the authority within mediated self-disclosure.The mediators who represent the TV mediation program strategically use three discourses(moral discourse,legal discourse and therapeutic discourse),especially the moral discourse,attempting to reconstruct moral order.Through responding to the expectation of individual moral order,The TV mediation program responds to the moral transformation under individuation,and the changes in the boundaries of private and public life in the context of "full freedom of private life but strict restrictions on public life".Different from the macro propaganda skills,TV mediation program falls within the boundaries of everyday life,and flexibly walks between pubilc and private life.In this vein,it is not hasty to make the conclusion that TV mediation program plays the role of Moral Institute in Chinese social life. |
