Research For Interoperability Model Of Ancient Books Metadata Based On OAI-PMH

Ancient books are an important carrier of Chinese traditional culture,and how to protect ancient books effectively is an urgent subject.Since Mr.Li Yi proposed the use of computer data for the preservation in 1979,our work for the digitization of humanity resources have progressed orderly.With the advancement of technology,the digital organization and preservation of ancient information resources have also made great progress.The protection measures are gradually developed by the protection of paper documents into the development of digital resources,from single,simple full text entry to database construction and open interaction.Many research institutions and universities have developed their own database of ancient books,such as Peking University and the Chinese Cultural Relics Bureau and other institutions have their own ancient information resources to organize the construction of ancient books and retrieval platform.In the description of the characteristics of ancient books,many units and organizations are currently using metadata programs.However,the duplication of data resources,interoperability agreements and organizational standards are also a problem also hindered the process of ancient digital.This paper explores the interchange model of ancient books based on OAI-PMH in this background,with a view to building an easy-to-use interoperation model,which is more convenient for the digital use and sharing of ancient resources.This paper mainly carries on the research of ancient commodity metadata interoperation model.The full text is divided into six parts.The first part analyzes the current situation of domestic and foreign research and master the latest research progress.In the second part,the theory and interoperation principle of OAI-PMH protocol are studied.At the same time,the definition of metadata,related metadata standard and metadata interoperability are discussed.This is the construction and implementation of ancient books metadata interoperability model Important theoretical basis.In the third part,the OAI-PMH protocol is analyzed and compared,and its applicability to the ancient metadata is illustrated.This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of DC and MARC as the standard of ancient books,and then combines the characteristics of ancient books to construct the core elements of ancient book metadata.In the fourth part,the paper puts forward the model of ancient commodity metadata interoperability based on OAI-PMH,and elaborates the key modules.Through the expansion of OAI protocol,the paper builds the warehousing and archaeological metadata harvesting module Inter-interaction module between them to discuss the interoperability model of ancient metadata.In the fifth part,the availability of the theory and method of the interoperation model proposed in this paper are verified by experiments.The MOAI software and the ancient metadata model are used to experiment with the model proposed in this paper,and the experimental results are analyzed.The sixth part is the summary and prospect of the article.
