Digital Library System

With the rapid development of computer technology,remote technology and network technology,digital library system has been researched extensively.This thesis regards county level city digital library as the development background.The purpose of developing this system is to provide convenient and efficient information services for user.Compared with traditional library,it breaks through the limitation of time and space.At the same time,digitizing for the cultural resources with the local characteristics can make it preserve longer and spread faster.That can also contribute to the local development.In terms of the storage resources,which saves a lot of space and avoids the phenomenon that the quantity of paper books can not meet the needs of readers.This thesis studies the design and implementation of digital library at county level.Firstly it introduces research background and significance of the digital library.It analyzes the research status of digital library at home and abroad.And it also analyzes business content of digital library system on the basis of the above.What's more,it describes the overall structure of the digital library,data access strategy,the design of each functional module of the system,database design and the security design of the system to prevent stealing links.It considers the massive data storage and backup of the digital library,and also the problem of cost savings,this thesis uses HDFS under Hadoop platform to storage data.Digital library system is mainly divided into five modules,which are the reader management,book circulation,cataloging management,statistics and system maintenance.Finally,it uses Java language as its development language and low coupling,strong reusability of SSH and combines with My SQL database to realize a digital library system on the basic of B/S structure.The digital library which oriented to the county level city can make the existing books into digital data and keep and spread books through the network information platform.It greatly improves the efficiency of the acquisition of knowledge.It facilitates the readers to search,read and download.And it saves a lot of time for the readers.
