With the rapid development of wireless network and multimedia technology,people import video,audio,image,and other multimedia information into traditional wireless sensor networks,to achieve fine-grained and accurate supervision of environmental monitoring.Wireless multimedia sensor network is a new type of sensor networks.Compared with traditional wireless sensor networks,it has stronger ability of computing and communication,and can percept more abundant multimedia information.With the increasing of the amount of the multimedia data,how to reduce the transmission volume of the data in the wireless network is very important.Firstly,this thesis studies the related technologies of wireless multimedia sensor networks,including the research status,key technology,and architecture of wireless multimedia sensor networks.In this study,the main difference of wireless multimedia sensor networks and traditional sensor networks are compared and analyzed.Later,one of the core technologies of sensor networks,data fusion technology,is studied.Then,we introduce the research significance and research present situation of the data fusion,conclude and analysis the existing main data fusion technologies,describe and illustrate the security of data fusion in wireless multimedia sensor networks.Secondly,a new secure data fusion algorithm based on similarity matching is proposed for wireless multimedia sensor networks in this thesis.The algorithm,based on the fuzzy similarity matching technology,operates data fusion of the multimedia information in the case of the resources are relatively limited and the security requirements are relatively high in wireless multimedia sensor networks.By constructing the similarity model and power model,multimedia data is divided,and conducted by feature matching.Then we get rid of the redundant data,screening out the low similarity data to transmit,to achieve the purpose of reducing the amount of data transmission in wireless multimedia sensor networks.This algorithm does not only have the high security,but also saves the energy of the network,thus can effectively prolong the working time of networks.The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated by simulation experiments.Finally,data fusion system of wireless multimedia sensor networks is designed and realized.The system comprises sensing network management module,sensing information display module,sensing information analysis module,and sensing network simulation module.We detailed design and realize the main function modules.Users will also be able to deployed different data fusion algorithms to the system,verifying the validity and applicability of the different data fusion strategies through the good user interface of the system.The system provides users the experimental verification platform and prototype system which can further optimize the data fusion algorithms and application designs.
