With the development of the power industry,various types of energy metering terminals have emerged one after another,and the number of manufacturers has become so numerous that there has been a problem of inconsistency in the stipulated version,and the traditional manual test of the terminal has been unable to meet the test requirements.Manual test not only has complicated and cumbersome testing process,is error prone,but also has a long test cycle and low efficiency.Therefore,there is an urgent need for an automated test platform that can replace some manual tests so that it can improve the test environment and save testers' time.The quality of the test results can also be guaranteed,and the automatic test of the terminal can be achieved by executing a test case script.This paper aims at the problems existing in software testing,analyzes the history,current status and development status of energy metering terminal testing,introduces the related technologies and key technical means of automated testing,and analyzes the various requirements required for terminal automation test platforms.The three functions of the platform's own functions,the business functions to be realized,and the related interfaces introduced the test case generation,use case management,file management,test program customization,and terminal automatic test functions in the platform's own functional requirements.The functions of parameter setting,call-testing,class 1 and class 2 data reading,event data reading,and protocol testing in the business function;followed by the system architecture,and the user interface framework was established to create the platform.The test case script execution engine and the MySql database management test case script were designed,and the system configuration and management module,business module,and communication interface module were designed and implemented.Finally,the design and the developed system were tested and the test results were tested.Analyze and realize the test function of the platform.The terminal automation test platform can provide various functional tests for various regulated power terminals.It can improve the efficiency of test work,and improve the testing environment for testers.At the same time,the test ideas of manual testers have been changed,and the quality of end products can be better ensured while shortening the test cycle and saving testing resources.
