Information hiding is a technology that hides secret information in a large amount of public data without being discovered by attackers,which can be divided into four categories according to different carriers:text,image,video,and audio.The text is more widely used nowadays.Conventional text information hiding algorithms hide secret information by modifying the format and content of the carrier text.Although these algorithms have high embedding rates,it is difficult for them to resist the steganalysis.Therefore,it is easy for an attacker to detect that the carrier carries the secret information and it is difficult to ensure the high security of the algorithm.In order to solve the above problem,a novel information hiding algorithm was proposed-coverless information hiding algorithm."Coverless" does not mean that there is no carrier,but it emphasizes that make no modification to the cover and directly retrieve the cover text in text big data.Once this algorithm was proposed,it triggered an upsurge of research by experts and scholars.However,there are two major problems in designing an efficient text coverless information hiding algorithm.One is the extraction of secret information in the carrier text,and the other is the improvement of hiding capacity of text coverless information hiding.For the two major problems,this paper proposes two corresponding solutions,as follows.1)Text coverless information hiding algorithm based on Unicode encodingIn order to extract secret information in the carrier text,this paper uses Unicode encoding to design a positioning tag to identify the position of the secret information in the carrier text.The positioning tag is selected based on the identity characteristics of the receiver,thereby ensuring that the receiver can extract the secret information in the carrier text without any auxiliary information.A large number of experimental results show that the algorithm can ensure that the receiver directly extracts the secret information based on receiving the carrier text.2)Text coverless information hiding algorithm based on word encodingIn order to improve the hiding capacity of text coverless information hiding,this paper analyzes collocations commonly used in Chinese and encodes them to form compounds(referred to as "word encoding")to reduce the number of carrier texts.At the same time,in order to increase the success rate of hiding,this paper divides the compounds into two categories;high frequency and low frequency.When the compounds in the secret information do not belong to the high frequency compounds,we need to cut the compounds and retrieve the low frequency compounds containing the segmentation results,thereby improving the hiding success rate of the algorithm.Numerous numerical analyses and experimental comparisons show that the algorithm greatly improves the hiding capacity of text coverless information hiding on the basis of ensuring a high success rate of hiding.
