Link-16 is the US research and development high speed sight distance tactical data link.It has served in the US Navy,air force,joint force and NATO force.The data link has the advantages of large capacity,secrecy and anti-interference.It can connect the terminals of the army,navy and air force units into a unified communication network to speed up information transmission,unified command and cooperative operations.JTIDS(Joint Tactical Information Release System)is the communication carrier of Link-16,and is the core technology of modern electronic information system.In recent several local wars,the performance of JTIDS/Link-16 tactical data link shows strong power of combat efficiency multiplier.In the tactical data link,the MAC(media access control)layer determines the allocation method of the channel resources.In JTIDS/Link-16,TDMA(time division multiple access)technology is adopted.A reasonable time slot allocation algorithm can effectively improve the utilization of the channel,increase the network capacity,reduce the end to end delay of the message,and thus improve the operational performance of the data link.At present,there are some shortcomings in the slot allocation way of tactical data link,which can not play the highest performance of weapons.Therefore,based on the JTIDS/Link-16 actual combat environment,a new dynamic time slot allocation algorithm(TDMA based on Adaptable Probability Contention)is proposed in this paper.The performance of APC-TDMA algorithm is simulated by OPNET.On the basis of summarizing the tactical data link and related technologies,and on this basis,combining the network architecture of data link,aiming at the shortage in the current JTIDS/Link-16 slot allocation,a dynamic time slot allocation algorithm APC-TDMA(TDMA based on Adaptable Probability Contention)based on the actual combat environment of JTIDS/Link-16 is proposed.This algorithm collects two hop neighbor nodes information by five handshake,calculates the priority of each node in each time slot,and confirms the occupancy of each node to time slot.The algorithm makes full use of the space division multiplexing characteristics of the network,improves the utilization rate of the slot,and guarantees the real-time transmission of data information to the greatest extent.Finally,the APC-TDMA network model is established by using OPNET simulation software,and the time slot allocation algorithm is verified by simulation and performance comparison.Through the simulation results,it is found that the algorithm improves the time slot utilization ratio in a certain application environment compared with the traditional time slot allocation algorithm,and improves the network performance in the end to end delay and the network throughput.
