| With the continuous development of optical fiber communication technology,the realization of high speed,large capacity,long distance and high quality signal transmission has also become the key point in the study of dense wavelength division multiplexing(WDM)system.Raman fiber amplifier has become an indispensable key device in the optical fiber communication system because it can realize a series of characteristics of multi pump structure,Super bandwidth,flat gain,low noise and low cost.In this paper,we designed the Raman fiber amplifier in three aspects,aiming at improving its function and related characteristics,and designing the related experiments to verify the improved results.The specific contents are as follows:(1)This paper mainly introduces the research background and significance of the design of this paper,and summarizes the development,research status and product characteristics of fiber Raman amplifier at home and abroad.(2)The basic principle,parameter characteristics,structure classification and key technologies of Raman fiber amplifier are introduced in detail.(3)The system structure and module design of the Raman pump module are introduced.The emphasis is on the capacity expansion of the pump module,so that the pump module can simultaneously drive the 8 pump light source to work steadily.(4)The principle of polarization dependent gain generation in Raman amplifier and the method of reducing polarization correlation gain are described,and polarization dependent wave method is designed to reduce polarization correlation gain.(5)The application of the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm on the MSP430 and the optimal configuration of the output power of the pump light source by PSO algorithm to realize the dynamic adjustment of the Raman gain,and then achieve a flat amplification.The Raman fiber amplifier developed in this paper uses multiple wavelengths to achieve C+L band amplification by reasonably configuring the pump wavelength,and reduces the Raman polarization correlation gain by depolarization.The application of PSO algorithm realizes the dynamic adjustment of Raman gain,and can finally achieve a smooth and smooth amplification. |
