MANET is a network composed of multiple mobile devices with wireless transceivers.Wireless MANET network is a multi-hop,temporary autonomous system has the characteristics of non-centrality,multi-hop,self-organization,and independence from infrastructure.Due to the characteristics of MANET networks,it has a very broad market prospect in military and civilian applications.In the Time Division Multiple Access(TDMA)system,the large-scale deployment of wireless ad hoc networks faces difficulties due to the limitation of time slot resources.The establishment of a virtual backbone network in a MANET network based on the TDMA mechanism can solve the problem mentioned above.The focus of this paper is the virtual backbone network construction algorithm for TDMA based MANET network,our goal is to design an algorithm can adapt to the scenario with a large number of users and has command center served as the core.According to the characteristics of the network scenario and the mechanism of TDMA,we establish the frame structure of the time slot,after that,we propose the TDMA based connected dominating set construction algorithm(TDMA-CDS).The proposed algorithm mainly completes the process of access to network nodes and the selection of backbone nodes,we also solve the problem of backbone node redundancy and optimize the link in real time when the topology changes.In this paper,the number of time slots(k)required for network construction is determined by simulation.After that in the static and dynamic scenarios,the impact of network node density and node normalized coverage area on the network connectivity,the network's resistance to destruction,and the link's stability performance are analyzed.Simulation results demonstrate that the virtual backbone network constructed by our proposed algorithm not only adapt to static and dynamic network scenarios with the command center as the core but also have the benefit of strong stability and resistance to destruction.Our proposed method can effectively balance the time slot resources of the network and enhances the reliability of the link.Finally,in this paper we implement the relevant module of TDMA-CDS algorithm on Xilinx hardware platform.We introduce the data structure,interface primitives and message events for the module.and performs functional testing on the implemented modules,the verification results show that the implementation module can meet the design requirements.
