Research On Information Service For Elderly Readers In Public Libraries Of Ji'nan City

In recent years,with the development of cultural undertakings,the society has paid more and more attention to information value,and the service of public libraries has also been flourishing.Public libraries are places where information is collected and one of the locations where people choose to get information.The reader service is one of the indexes of the service level detection of the public library,and the old reader is an important part of the library service object.It is a required course for the library to improve the service of the library.However,there are still some shortcomings in the information service provided by the public libraries for the elderly readers.Through the literature analysis,this paper expounds the research status at home and abroad,mastering the theoretical knowledge,and forming the first impression of the research on the information service of the old readers in the public library.The 4 libraries of Shandong province library,Ji'nan library,Lixia District Library and Tianqiao library were interviewed on the spot.Through questionnaire survey,200 elderly readers were investigated by questionnaire.The original survey data were arranged in a chart and the problems existed in the infrastructure construction of various libraries.For the elderly readers to carry out activities,put forward the shortcomings of the library in the information service of the elderly readers,understand the situation of the elderly readers using the public library and the service satisfaction of the public library,and understand the needs and expectations of the elderly readers to the public library from a certain angle.Public libraries play a bridge between information and users to ensure that users can obtain information about printed and electronic resources on an equal basis.The significance of public library information service lies in the use of users to obtain correct information and make life more convenient.The public library should give full play to its collection characteristics,aiming at the psychological characteristics of the old readers,reading characteristics,reading needs,improving the service facilities of the library,and strengthening the management of the library.It is not only a part of the elderly as a part of the disadvantaged group,but also the old people as a user group to find books.The existing problems in library service for elderly readers and improving library services.
