Adaptive beamforming technology is the core of array signal processing and has been widely used.Desired signal can be extracted by using the differences of the spatial spectrums of the received useful signal,the interference and noise signals.With the rapid development of communication technology,all kinds of intentional or unintentional electromagnetic interference are also increasing.In order to make the communication equipment receive and send useful signals properly in various environments,the development of effective anti-jamming technology has become the focus of this study.Based on the in-depth study of adaptive beamforming technology,this paper studies the virtual antenna technology and coupling self-correction technology between array antennas.Aiming at some problems that exist in the existing virtual antennas and coupling correction methods,this paper proposes a corresponding solution.This paper briefly describes the theoretical knowledge of virtual antenna technology and array antenna coupling self-correction technology.Based on this,the advantages and disadvantages of the currently proposed virtual antenna technology and the existing coupled self-calibration technology are analyzed in detail.In practical applications,many communication devices are congested in a small space,which constantly aggravates the electromagnetic compatibility issues between devices.The array virtual expansion technology can realize the function of multi-element array antenna with less number of elements and can more effectively utilize the communication equipment space.In this paper,a method of array element virtual expansion based on circular array is proposed.The method uses a real array element at the center of the circle and isometric array elements at three arcs at least,so that the data information of the virtual extended array element can be introduced progressively,one by one,and delayed.Compared with the actual antenna array beamforming,the nulling depth of the virtual array expansion is deeper,the performance of the nulling upper opening angle is better,the anti-jamming convergence speed is faster,and the anti-interference state is more stable.Through the simulation results under different parameters and environment,the practicability,validity and superiority of this method are verified.When the spacing between the array elements is small,the coupling between the arrays will cause the nulling depth of the adaptive beamforming to become shallow.When the coupling is large,the adaptive beamforming will not generate the nulling and the main lobes and side lobes will be distorted.In the past,the research on the mutual coupling correction problems was mostly applied to the DOA estimation,and mostly need auxiliary signal source or directed to the linear arrays.In this paper,the problem of coupling correction between array antenna is deeply studied.Based on planar antenna array and adaptive beamforming technology,two coupling self-correction techniques for array elements are proposed.These two methods do not require an external auxiliary signal source and can perform self-correction of the coupling between the antenna arrays in real time.Then,the utility and effectiveness of the two methods are verified through simulation results under different parameters and environments.
