The demands for mobile products promote the rapid development of wireless networks.In order to get rid of the dependence of the military wireless network on the fixed infrastructure completely,Ad-hoc network technology came into being,Ad-hoc is often used in military communications systems for its advantages:coreless,dynamic topologies,peer-to-peer networks,and infrastructure-independent.However,the demand for Ad-hoc terminals in civil communications is also very large such as earthquake and typhoons destroy public network facilities.On the other hand,the confidentiality of military Ad-hoc technology limits the development of Ad-hoc in civil communications to some extent.Therefore,it is necessary to develop a general terminal for Ad-hoc network communication.The paper develops a universal Ad-hoc network commmunication terminal software system with features for emergency and miltary communications.1)According to requirements,the paper designs the Ad-hoc network terminal software architecture and develops the common functions of the Ad-hoc network terminal to ensure basic communications,including voice,video,image,text,and file communication.2)Based on the special application environment of Ad-hoc network,special features including on-board core module and peripheral interface module are developed,such as one-click command to send,improved multi-hop transmission,situation display,network switching,UTC time sychronization and etc.It ensures the stability and efficiency of communications while infrastructure is destroyed.3)It puts forward some theoretical solutions for the continuous research and development of Ad-hoc network terminals.Considering that the current multi-hop routing is not combined with the energy control strategy,the instability of Ad-hoc may be caused by insufficient energy,this paper presents a new routing energy control strategy,it selects the best path for the longest duration to ensure network stability.Based on TDMA(Time Division Multiple Access)having high requirements for time synchronization,this paper proposes PPS(Pulse Per Second)combining with NMEA0183 message to sychronize system time to improve the efficiency of network transmission based on TDMA mechanism.
