The Study On Ancient Japanese Manuscripts Of Wamyoruijusho

This paper focuses on different versions of Wamyoruijusho,selecting the printed copies and the ancient manuscripts that belong to two systems of twenty volumes edition and ten volumes edition as the research object,with the methodologies of bibliography,philology and other relevant research methods.Firstly,on the basis of the introduction of the author(s),time of writing,compiling style and edition system,this paper selects multiple versions which belong to editions of different periods.The rearrangement of words,deletion and addition are also analyzed in the paper when considering the copyist(s)'s intention of keeping the identity of character size and the neat layout.Meanwhile,the characteristics of ancient manuscripts are pointed out in the paper.According to differences in the text between the manuscripts and printed books of the twenty volumes and the ten volumes edition,by the research and analysis,this paper inclines to the view that the twenty volumes precedes the ten volumes system,which is closer to the original look.Combining with existing catalogues and bibliographies,this paper studies the ancient books which are cited in Wamyoruijusho.At the same time,the presence of different versions in the quotation is discussed and the features of the quotation of the book is studied in the paper by analyzing the items of Wenxuan as well as comparing the quotation with present edition(s).Finally,the related matters of the words in Wamyoruijusho is also studied in this paper.Words that are include in Wamyoruijusho are all Chinese,even containing words that are not included in current unabridged dictionaries as well as words which have diverse meaning.The meaning of these words are also different.This paper selects some of those words,makes full use of all kinds of literature materials,studies the meaning,and discusses the reasons behind.
