With the rapid development of wireless communication technology,daily mobile communication and navigation communication have higher requirements on telecommunication equipment.As we all know,antennas are the core components of communication equipment.The demands for network quality become more and more dramatic,which leads to changes in volumes,radiation performances and structures of antennas.The design of multi-band miniaturized microstrip antennas has attracted the attention of scholars.The in-depth researches on microstrip antenna feed method,multiple frequency bands and miniaturization method are carried out.The main research results of the thesis can be summarized as follows:(1)A multiple frequency microstrip antenna with coaxial feed that consists of a feed line,a radiation patch and an FR4 dielectric board is designed.The antenna is loaded with five irregular slots on the radiation patch.Four of them are bent twice at a rate of3/4,1/8,1/16,according to the length of the longest vibrator.The size of the antenna is40*40mm~2,and the operating frequency covers four frequency bands of 1.65GHz,2.15GHz,2.85GHz and 3.1GHz.It achieves maritime satellite communication frequency bands,satellite communication frequency bands,and aeronautical radio navigation bands.Tested by the vector network analyzer,the results show the designed antenna has good performance.(2)A multiple frequency microstrip antenna with microstrip feed is designed.A novel asymmetrical slotted form is used in this radiation patch.The size of the antenna is 32*32mm~2.And the operating frequency has five frequency bands that include1.46GHz,1.94GHz,2.3GHz,3.78GHz and 5.16GHz.It covers point-to-multipoint microwave system band,China Telecom band,China Unicom band,radio location band,E-UTRA operating band 43 band and WLAN band,including 1.427GHz-1.525GHz,1.92GHz-1.940GHz,1.94GHz-1.955GHz and 2.3GHz-2.4GHz.Tested by a vector network analyzer,the measured results are in good agreement with the simulation results.It indicates that the antenna possesses good multiband characteristics and miniaturization features.Using the method of slotting on the patch surface,two small multi-frequency microstrip antennas have been designed in this thesis.The slots form is relatively novel and the antenna has good performances.It is a good reference for the further research and design of small multi-frequency microstrip antennas.
