| Wireless sensor network is a self-organizing network,which consists of a large number of inexpensive micro sensor nodes.The nodes transmit information from source to destination by multi-hop pattern.The performance of data acquisition,perception and monitoring on schedule can be realized with good flexibility and economy that was widely used in environmental monitoring and surveillance,medical and military affairs.Since most sensor nodes with battery supply feed,which usually distributed in outside environment,and the battery energy storage is limited and cannot be recharged.We find an energy-efficient strategy that can improve network lifetime and increase the network survival times.The sensor node completes communication through multi-hop.If the multi-hop node is randomly connected,it will bring about excessive use of nodes and serious energy waste.The intermediate node in multi-hop links can be regarded as the relay node,and the relay energy efficient selection strategy provides new ideas for sensor energy efficiency.Based on the analysis of analyzing from domestic and abroad,and summarize the node strategy of wireless relay.This paper proposes an energy efficient method based on relay selection combine the characteristics of wireless sensor network.Firstly,Our research is based on sensor antenna coverage strategy.The sensor nodes general use omnidirectional antennas,with a large number of node antennas and frequent data exchange,it will cause data serious interference,energy consumption increase and system performance abate.We proposed an efficient relay selection method based on smart antenna combination the characteristics of network and the performance of antenna.Based on the analysis of the energy consumption in antenna,the strategy of directional antenna is put forward.Through the directional coverage of the candidate relay area nodes,which increase the antenna gain and save energy,at the same time ensuring the quality of the transmitted data.We improved the model according to the location of the sensor node distribution to reduce the number of sensor nodes and further improve the energy efficiency.The feasibility of the strategy is validated by simulation analysis of the proposed method.Secondly,Research on the selection of low energy relay nodes.We propose an energy-efficient relay selection algorithm to improve the lifetime of wireless sensor networks based on the analysis and summary of the traditional relay selection algorithm.The algorithm can reduce the energy loss of nodes by reduce the transmit power of nodes according to the location and environmental parameters.The algorithm chooses the optimal relay nodes.The algorithm also considers the residual energy of the node at the same time,which can ensure the maximum lifetime of the network.The improved algorithm is compared with the traditional relay selection algorithm,which can save energy effectively and make the energy consumption balance. |
