A Study On The Media Of Rock And Roll In China Youth Daily(2000-2017)

Rock and roll,as a strong subculture,has swept the globe in the cultural wave of globalization.When rock music entered China,its strong rebellion style,intense expression form,and frank content expressed the time of China,affecting the growth of a whole generation.The development of rock music in China has been ups and downs,and the media coverage framework at different stages of development has also undergone changes.As a leader of public opinion,how to report Chinese rock and roll music has a far-reaching impact on its development.This paper uses the method of content analysis to study the rock report of the Chinese youth daily from 2000 to 2017,discusses the presentation of the newspaper to Chinese rock and roll,and summarizes the concrete framework of the rock report of the Chinese Youth Daily.The study found that China Youth Daily's report on China's rock and roll mainly has two frameworks: decline and development.Under the framework of the decline frame,there are three sub frames: lack of creative power,commercial alienation and difficult survival;under the framework of the development framework,there are three subframeworks of original motive force,rock spirit and social guide.In general,the object of the Chinese Youth Daily's rock report tends to choose the "old rock hero",the event choice tends to be positive,and advocates the use of positive and positive mainstream values to interpret rock music.They are pessimistic about the development of rock and roll,but they have praised the brilliance of rock and roll.At the end of the paper,the reasons for the presentation of rock story in China Youth Daily are analyzed from the aspects of cultural environment,news policy and media responsibility.
