| Since the concept of IoT showed up several years ago,the practical application has rapidly developed.The IoT technology benefits the living,transporting and manufacturing of all aspects of human lives,such as intelligent surveillance cameras,air quality monitoring sensors online.However,the terminal equipment has special DC power supply,which has exceeded not only the cost of project implementation,project management and operation,but also has been far from convenience in the maintenance and management.The terminal equipment normally has several RJ-45 port to Ethernet with 4 pairs of cables.The equipment transmit data via the twisted pairs of cables and CSMA/CD technologies.The wide use of Ethernet in IoT network make it can safely apply POE Power over Ethernet to its current network infrastructures through the centralized,automatized,convenient and smart dynamic power supply of Ethernet.It is compatible to the original network,which is also an excellent factor that helps the research and development of the power supply technology in Ethernet.This article introduces the current status of the development of Ethernet's power supply at both home and aboard,analyzes the diverse technologies of its power supply and studies the 802.3af IEEE standard of the DC power while data is transmitting in the Ethernet.It concludes from the comparison of the different ways in the procedure of power supply,which is based on the END-POINT structure-a scheme of power supply in Ethernet.In addition,we designed a power supply scheme with high performance in the Ethernet.It focuses on the high demand of power of some practical IP telecommunicating terminal equipment,which is well above the maximum power in 802.3af standard.Furthermore,the markets and factories are desperately requiring network equipment power supply,real-time status monitoring and power management with higher power.This scheme is based on the PSE power management chip BCM59121.It will handle the equipment testing,power classification,and power and condition monitoring management,deal with the anti-noise,anti-surge,anti-electromagnetic interference of the key signals,and apply anti-lightning design for communication interface circuit,which improves the stability of PSE equipment in the extreme working environment.At last,through the simulation testing of circuit board in extreme environmental,the PSE power supply scheme has several advantages,such as automatic classification of power consumption of terminal equipment,strong anti-interference ability,high efficiency,good stability,,which will effectively solve the power consumption requirements of larger power terminal equipment. |
