As the “Broadband China” strategy has been released and applied,which brings the amount of fibers and broadband users to a new hight in the past few years.However,the huge access network with complex and redendant wire resources makes the construction,management and maintenance of the Optical Distribution Network face the unprecedented pressure.The operators have more and more urgent need for lower cost and high efficiency Optical Distribution Network.Intelligent Optical Distribution Network can change the traditional Optical Distribution Network to eliminate the management confusion of the traditional ODN to a great extent.Among many intelligent Optical Distribution Network solutions,the essay selects Radio Frequency Identification electronic tag as study object.The main research work in this paper is as follows:(1)The development of RFID and related products at home and abroad is investigated.The features,architecture models,functions,management and maintenance of intelligent Optical Distribution Network system will be studied.(2)The author designs circuit module for manageable Optical Distribution Frame port information based on Radio Frequency Identification which can directly implant in fiber distribution panel in accordance with the structure of intelligent fiber distribution panel,optical fiber connector and electronic tag.What's more,the module uses the chip named MAX4638,which can switch twelve ports of distribution panel,so that the identification of optical fiber port's electronic information of intelligent Optical Distribution Frame system can be realized.In the experiment,the essay tests the circuit in order to make the circuit have the best electronic identification.(3)The software of Intelligent Optical Distribution Network management terminal has been designed to communicate with intelligent ODN equipment so that the the functions of port guidance,electronic tag identification and the fiber distribution panel information collection can be realized which complete the visualization and intelligent management of intelligent ODN equipments.At last,the essay provides a low cost and high efficiency centralized management of multiple intelligent ODN equipments with serial servers.
