Mobile payment has become the current mainstream payment methods.In order to support mobile payments,the large and medium-sized retailers have upgraded their cashier systems.However,the vast majority of small and micro shops cannot afford the cost of buying or upgrading the cash register systems.Merchants that do not have a cashier usually deal with day-to-day operations with traditional notes and even brain.The efficiency is relatively low.Moreover,there often are payment-missing situations,and the accounting also needs a lot of time and cost.Even they have purchased cheap cashier systems,the functions of the systems usually are limited.For example,these system has not member management capabilities,so are unable to issue membership cards to increase customer loyalty;Or are not online,so the transaction data have to be saved in the local storage;Or only support cash payment.In order to help small and micro merchants to solve the problems mentioned abo ve,this thesis proposes a solution based on Android mobile cash register system for small and micro businesses.Compared with the traditional cash register systems,this system has two major characteristics.First,the cashier equipment is not necessary.This system does not require specific hardware.It only needs a smart phone with Android.Smart phones will be installed an APP named Micro-Cashier.Second,the micro-cash register APP can link the internal management in the shops to the mobile Internet us ers closely.This APP implemented many useful functions such as mobile cloud cash register,commodity inventory management,merchant cashier management,membership management,accounting statistics and so on.This thesis describes the overall solution,which is divided into three parts,namely,server-side,business-side,client.This thesis focuses on the details of the server-side overall architecture design and Android merchant micro-cash register APP architecture design.Server-side uses Windows Server 2012 + Tomcat 7.1 + MySQL5.5 + Spring MVC + MyBatis3.4 platform and technology to solve data access management,moreover,defines a unified API access interface design,to shield a variety of terminal access differences,uses standard JSON format data as the API to return the responses.An droid merchant APP uses the MVC layered architecture,moreover,uses HTTP request to connect to the server to access data to achieve online mobile orders,mobile cash register,member management,product management,accounting statistics and other fun ctions.This thesis also introduced the system integration,testing,debugging and deploym ent.Now the system runs stable,the related functions achieve the expected design goals.Moreover,this system is welcomed by the merchants.This system will help the merchants to improve their operational efficiency and win the favor of young consumers.
