| Financial notes are important vouchers for banking business. It is necessary to save financial notes and identify the authenticity of financial notes. In the traditional methods, the authenticity of financial notes is identified by staff.Financial notes is saved by storing. These methods is time-consuming and inefficient. With the development of technology, intelligent financial notes processing is the trend. In the process of banking business, the multi-spectral images of financial notes can be used not only to identify the authenticity of the notes, but also to realize the digital filing of the bills and improve the working efficiency of the financial institutions. This paper designs and develops a set of multi-spectral image acquisition hardware modules based on Altera's FPGA.Firstly, the hardware scheme of multi-spectral image acquisition system is designed. In this scheme, the control of CIS sensor,SDRAM and USB chip is realized by FPGA.The PC reads the multi-spectral image of the financial notes from the acquisition module through USB interface.According to the hardware program, the hardware schematic design and PCB design is completed.Hardware module has data acquisition, cache,USB transmission and the other components. The problem of reliable transmission of SDRAM is solved in PCB layout. Then the working principle of USB2.0 interface is studied. The firmware of the controller is programed. The firmware is used to achieve USB data transmission. Finally, the function and performance of the hardware module is evaluated through cooperation of the multi-spectral image acquisition hardware module and PC software. The test shows that the power ripple and signal quality of multi-spectral image acquisition hardware module can satisfy requirements of the design. This module has stable operation and can continuously collect the infrared, ultraviolet and white light of the financial notes.Image acquisition speed, image quality can satisfy the requirement that is used to set image acquisition, identifying the authenticity of financial notes and filing. |
