Fibre Channel(FC)is a high-performance serial transmission protocol that is widely used in avionics systems and regional storage networks.Studying the multi-rate technology implementation and fault-tolerant processing of the Fibre Channel data link layer can improve the applicability and robustness of the Fibre Channel network, and has important application value. The main goal of this paper is to study the technology and modular design of the Fibre Channel data link layer.Based on the standard Fibre Channel protocol specification, the key technologies in the Fibre Channel data link layer are studied, which realizes port switching at 8G/4G/2G rate conditions and speed negotiation between ports, and supports flow control and fault-tolerant processing functions; The research of Fibre Channel technology realizes the 64B/66B coding module, and on this basis, the design scheme of 32G Fibre Channel forward error correction technology is proposed. The test results show that the port supports real-time rate switching and the speed negotiation is supported between the interconnect ports;the port supports the buffer-to-buffer flow control policy and has certain fault tolerance for common errors in the data link;the coding result for 64B/66B meets Fibre Channel protocol standards. |
