With the continuous progress of computer and network technology,datacenters have developed rapidly as an important carrier of the network.The changing user requirements,high throughput,low latency and other performance requirements all put forward high requirements for data center congestion control.Therefore,congestion control has always been the focus of research in the field of datacenter networks.With the evolution of virtualization and cloud technology,the emergence of multitenant datacenters brings new challenges to congestion control.This paper focuses on the research of existing datacenter congestion control.First,regarding to the real-time requirements of traditional datacenters,this paper improves D2TCP and proposes a deadline sensitive and delay-based congestion control.Then,in order to solve friendly conflict of heterogeneous congestion control among multitenant datacenters,this paper proposes a delay-based virtual congestion control.Finally,combining a deadline sensitive and delay-based congestion control and a delay-based virtual congestion control,a deadline sensitive and delay-based virtual congestion control has been proposed.The main contribution of this article can be summarized as follows:(1)This paper improves the D2TCP congestion control method and proposes a deadline sensitive and delay-based congestion control in traditional single datacenter.In order to solve the limitations of the traditional data center caused by explicit feedback congestion control,this paper replaces ECN with RTT as the network congestion parameters.In addition,it analyses the deadline imminence factor algorithm of D2TCP and improves its inadequacy.The deadline sensitive and delay-based congestion control can ensure the real-time performance of the network and be deployed conveniently in the existing data center without any dependency on the support of ECN.(2)Regarding to the friendly conflict of heterogeneous congestion control among multitenant,this paper proposes a delay-based virtual congestion control,which translates the multi-tenant heterogeneous congestion control into delay-based feedback uniformly by setting the hypervisor translate layer,modifying three-way handshake of explicit feedback and packet loss feedback and regulating the size of receiving window.The delay-based virtual congestion control can effectively solve the unfairness of heterogeneous feedback congestion control algorithms.(3)This paper improves Delay-based vCC and proposes a deadline sensitive and delay-based virtual congestion control which translates the multi-tenant heterogeneous congestion control into delay-based feedback and deadline sensitive uniformly by introducing deadline sensitive and optimizing the receiving window calculation formula.The deadline sensitive and delay-based virtual congestion control can not only effectively solve the unfairness of heterogeneous feedback congestion control algorithms,but also can distinguish flows between different priority and reduce the rate of missed deadline short flows.
