With the rapid development of the Internet,the traditional WAN architecture has more and more difficulties in satisfying the needs of network business.According to application scenarios and core goals,many companies have proposed their own SDWAN solutions.In this paper,the SDWAN controller for dynamic overlay network was proposed,to provide long-term stable virtual path for user traffic in the WAN environment with frequent fluctuations.Firstly,based on the characteristics of the data plane,the controller innovated the key technologies of MPLS tag pool management,and provides functions of MPLS labels such as classification,distribution,recovery and consistency maintenance.Secondly,the controller proposed the concept of "virtual path" to represent the end-to-end path in the network,referencing the design concepts of nesting of tags and sou rce routing in SegmentRouting,and made innovative design for processing virtual path result,delivering control strategy,QoS quality monitoring,etc.And finally it researched and developed a virtual path multiplexing and protection scheme to provide virtual path funct ion that satisfying QoS quality requirements.In addition,the controller has been improved and innovated in architecture to provide more complete functions for management and control functions.This thesis mainly carried out the following work:1)The application scenarios and challenges of SDWAN controller for dynamic overlay network were analyzed.Besides,this thesis researched common SDWAN network architecture schemes and controller architectures.Next,the design and limitations of the previous version of controllers in the laboratory's POCO system were analyzed.2)The core scheme design of POCO system was clarified,and the requirements of SDWAN controller for dynamic Overlay network were analyzed,as well as the key technologies and innovations of the controller.3)The overall architecture of the controller and plane division were proposed,as well as the design of modules in each plane.After that,this thesis introduced the design of the core business process of the controller.4)The detailed design and development of the tag management module,application management module,policy delivery module,device management module,topology management module and QoS detection module in the controller were introduced in detail.And this thesis clarified the implementation of business processes in detail.5)In a wide area test network consisting of multiple virtual nodes deployed worldwide,the functional tests and performance tests are done on the controller,which verifies that the controller is func tioning correctly and with stable performance.
