From The Development Of Independent Curators In China To Explore The Museum Curator System

In recent years,with the rapid development of museum in China,the limitations of the current exhibition mode of museum highlights gradually.And also,the concept of western curator brings new ideas of exhibition to our country,some museums start trying to change the difficult position of the present exhibition and innovating to seek more effective mode of exhibition.Calling for the reform of curator system in museums becomes more and more often.Some domestic museums have gained some valuable experience by exploring the localization of the curator system,but the "independent curator" in the western curator system has not caused influence in the field of Chinese museums,and independent curator is still a new thing for Chinese museums,and advantages of independent curator have not been given full play,also.This article analyses the development space and restriction factors of the independent curator in Chinese museums through the summarization of the development of the independent curator in the museum of our country to explore more suitable museum exhibition mechanism for our domestic museums,and puts forward a new thinking direction – “ flexible ”curator system.At the same time,this article also puts forward some ideas around the system construction,and analyses the significance of the curators system for development of Chinese museum macroscopically.The proposal of “flexible” curator system can provide a new development idea for the innovation and reform of Chinese museum exhibition mechanism.
