The Generation And Construction Of Contentious Discourse In Haze Events

In the current stage of haze management,haze often occurs.At the same time,our country is in the period of social transformation,social structure change makes a variety of contradictions.Compared with the confrontation behavior of general environmental events,the controversy of haze events usually does not produce large-scale offline confrontation,but is more manifested in the interaction and contention of online discourse.This paper focuses on the formation and construction logic of contentious discourse as a resistance to dominant discourse on the new media platform dominated by micro-blog in public haze emergencies.Based on the analysis framework of"scenario-actor",this paper examines the discourse space constructed by new media of different discourse subjects,which media resources are used and what discourse practice is carried out,and how contentious discourse is regulated by power rules.Generated and constructed under the system.Specifically,this paper is mainly based on four parts:the analysis of the real social context,the summary of three controversial events in a short period of time,the discourse practice of three discourse subjects,and the analysis of the relationship between different subjects by returning to events and social scenes.Firstly,this paper summarizes the development of haze issues in China and the controversial process of typical haze emergencies.It is found that in the current discourse discussion space of haze issues in China,a pattern of universal participation and multi-interaction has been formed,and the discussion of haze issues has been deepened.The change of haze emergencies from static single events to dynamic series events shows a complex process of discourse interaction.The public,the media and the government carry out discourse practice in this dynamic and moving field of discourse disputes,and construct the significance of controversial events.This paper finds that in the process of constructing the environmental controversy event of "Haze holiday",the public gradually endows it with social significance,transforms it into a comprehensive topic form in the public sense,produces entertaining and emotional antagonistic discourse through social media,actively expresses the discourse appeal and deconstructs the discourse meaning of dominant discourse.Shaped the unique landscape of public risk discourse expression under the new media environment.The media as the main body,through aggregating the power of market-oriented media and other media,realizes the framework transfer and the legalization of topics by the way of framework conjunction,breaks through the hegemony of government official single discourse expression and dominant discourse,and participates in the construction of confrontational discourse system from the public standpoint.Thus,there is a contradictory discourse field between the government,the public,the media and other subj ects,and there is a confrontational relationship between the discourse space.This paper finds that the role characteristics of different discourse subjects,the position of discourse subjects in society,and the relationship between discourse subjects are the main basis for the construction of confrontational discourse system,which also determines the informality and instability of confrontational discourse in haze disputes.With the continuous development of controversial events,the expression of haze risk by discourse subjects has been replaced by social issues such as government governance,education development,civil rights and so on.The focus of environmental risk has been shifted or even eliminated.Based on this,it is still worth considering to establish institutional channels of interest expression and a fair and effective multi-interaction framework under the new media environment.
