| Reality show originated in Europe and the United States in the 1990s.Represented by grandparent programs such as Big Brother and Survivor,it rapidly rose and spread to the whole world.The early reality show was once divided into documentary category due to its high documentary nature.With the further exploration and innovation of reality show,its entertainment and variety have been continuously enlarged,and documentary has been placed in a secondary position,forming its own unique narrative style and occupying a place in TV programs.Since the broadcast of " Super Girl"by Hunan Satellite TV in 2003 received a warm response,there has been a upsurge of reality shows in China.In recent years,reality shows have shown a spurt of development.Judging from the number of programs,the amount of topic discussions and the audience rating,it is an indisputable fact that reality TV has become the mainstream program form of TV." The Voice of China"," Where's Dad Going"and " Extreme Challenge"and other"phenomenal"variety shows have become hot topics of concern and discussion.With the phenomenon of extensive entertainment,homogenization and traffic congestion,the reality TV market is showing signs of weakness.With the phenomenon of extensive entertainment,homogenization and traffic congestion,the reality TV market is showing signs of weakness.After a series of cultivation and the development of variety shows,more and more reality TV programs have jumped out of the existing"show"mode and introduced a large number of documentary elements,focusing on the " reality"of the programs.Different from the previous reality TV programs,this variety show does not pay attention to the program lineup,relatively ignores the rule design and task setting,and seeks to maximize the on-the-spot record effect of the program by reducing the variety and entertainment components of the program,with the emphasis on showing the real,natural and living state of the characters in the " true"situation.Under this new creation mode,documentary elements in documentaries and entertainment elements in reality shows are further combined,and more and more"pan-documentary"variety reality shows flood into TV screens.From the perspective of documentary elements,this paper takes"Adventure in Life"as a case study,through analyzing the specific application of documentary elements in the program,deeply analyzes the artistic value of documentary elements in the form of reality shows and illustrates how documentary elements present" reality".Through multi-angle and in-depth detailed analysis,this paper expounds the expression methods of documentary elements in reality shows,and expands the expression range of documentary element creation,so as to promote the diversification and diversity development of variety reality shows.However,the development of the integration of documentary elements into reality show creation and how it is reflected in reality show programs are the issues that this article focuses on and attempts to solve. |
