In recent years,broadband services have developed rapidly.Customers also have higher requirements for such services,not only in terms of equipment performance,but also in terms of technology.FI Technological innovations are needed to meet the evolving needs of customers.In recent years,the level of broadband by the three major providers has also been greatly raised,from the previous copper cable access to optical access.The latter not only brings better experience but also saves resources and costs.Passive optical network is a very good access method.Each operator is continuously put into operation management.It has many advantages such as compatibility with various speeds,full service QoS guarantee,high efficiency operation.So it is considered to be the best choice for broadband access networks.Therefore,a thorough study and a comprehensive analysis of GPON are of great significance to access network.At present,most dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithms in PON networks are based on ONU level,and an ONU often include multiple types of prioritized businesses.If ONU is the only criteria used for bandwidth allocation,it will not be possible to accurately allocate dynamic bandwidth to different business levels.The QoS cannot be guaranteed for high-priority business.In addition,even though allocation is based on the level of priority of businesses,the QoS of high-priority business is still dissatisfactory since no fixed bandwidth is reserved for it.Against the above background,an improved dynamic bandwidth allocation algorithm based on GPON is proposed.Firstly,apply dynamic bandwidth allocation according to business priority.And T-CONT with different priority is polled.Secondly,define a fixed bandwidth type T-CONT guaranteeing the top QoS for high-priority business,thus ensuring bandwidth provision for such businesses.Finally,run OPNET simulation and test in the actual production environment.The results are analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the algorithm.In the end,it is verified that the algorithm of dynamic bandwidth allocation based on service priority has more efficient QoS guarantee,and the service delay of all types of priority businesses remain at acceptable level.Moreover,in high load and low load scenarios,the delay of three kinds of services is lower than that of DBA algorithm,and the fairness of service provision for different priority businesses is also achieved,which shows good improvement.This method can also provide meaningful reference for researchers to carry out more in-depth investigation and research.
