In recent years,China's online social media has developed rapidly.With its convenience and practicality,WeChat is far ahead in the use of various social media.With the gradual deepening of the aging population,elderly users have injected a new vitality into the use of WeChat.Under the background of the “new” trend of users and the “old” form of society,the motivation and influence of social media exposure for the elderly The study of factors is particularly important.In this study,from the perspective of the "use and satisfaction" theory,WeChat contact behavior of the elderly was taken as the research object,and the hypothesis of WeChat contact behavior,motivation and demand satisfaction of the elderly was proposed.Questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview were used to conduct quantitative analysis of WeChat contact behavior of the elderly.Firstly,the demographic characteristics of elderly WeChat users were briefly described,and the WeChat contact behaviors of the elderly were studied in combination with the demographic characteristics,and the correlation and difference between the two were analyzed.Secondly,factor analysis was conducted on WeChat exposure motivation of the elderly,specific types of use motivation were obtained,descriptive statistical analysis was conducted,and the intensity of various types of motivation and related influencing factors were discussed.Thirdly,the degree of satisfaction of WeChat needs of the elderly was analyzed to explore the relevant influencing factors of the degree of satisfaction of needs.Finally,the characteristics and possible problems of WeChat exposure in the elderly were summarized,and corresponding Suggestions were put forward.
